Lynhurst is an elegant late Victorian country house with great character arranged on four floors. Built as a summer retreat in 1890 for a wealthy London bankers family the house is totally hidden in almost 3 acres of gardens and natural woodland yet just a whisper away from Lynton and Lynmouth.

It is a perfect retreat for those seeking peace and solitude, although secluded, it is only a short stroll to all the area's attractions- such as the famous 'Cliff Railway' which takes you to the picturesque harbour of Lynmouth, the Valley of the Rocks' and the beautiful waterfalls of Watersmeet.

Perched some 400 feet above Lynmouth over looking Exmoor National park Lynhurst exudes wide and open space and tranquillity.
Enjoy the large garden with BBQ area and relax on the terrace or in the beautiful conservatory both taking in the panoramic sea views.

Plenty of parking can be found in the large public car park just 300 metres from the Lynhurst, which is accessed by a graduated sloping footpath, weekly passes are obtained from the Tourist Board. There is access for cars to the Lynhurst so visitors can be dropped off at the property. Dogs welcome. Pubs, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away and a beach in Lynmouth.

"Wireless broadband available within the property"
